The story

Where MarineStream came from

Franmarine has delivered integrated biofouling management and underwater engineering out of Henderson, Western Australia since 1981. MarineStream started as the internal system that kept that work standardised and auditable. It is now available to vessel owners, fleet operators, facility managers, diving contractors, hull cleaners and ROV operators who need a system that works.

The people behind it are using it today to run the only commercial in-water cleaning operation in Australia.

How we work

Four commitments

Standards aligned

Inspection, cleaning and records mapped to the IMO biofouling guidelines and in accordance with class rules.

Field proven

The technologies and capabilities we offer are proven on vessels, aquaculture, ports and marinas and offshore infrastructure before we sell them.

Audit ready

Ratings, evidence, approvals and reports all sit in one place per vessel.

Partner first

We would rather complement diving contractors and ROV teams than bid against them for every job.

Defence work

What defence work taught us

Our people and systems work across defence, commercial and energy sectors, with more than 85 assets inspected and cleaned to standard. Our defence customers set the bar on objective quality evidence (OQE), and we adopted this as the baseline for the benefit of all others.
